Every Stratosyn Origin platform begins with a simulation model and ends with a validated, mission-ready system. The platform categories below can be configured for specific payloads, endurance requirements, operating environments, and mission profiles.
Long-Endurance Fixed-Wing
Mission: Wide-area surveillance, corridor mapping, long-range intelligence collection, agricultural monitoring.
Fixed-wing platforms engineered for aerodynamic efficiency, low power consumption, and stable, high-altitude cruise. Our team has designed and flown fixed-wing platforms with 50+ minute mapping endurance and 3+ hour IC-engine surveillance endurance carrying 1+ kg payloads.
CFD-optimised wing profiles reduce drag and improve time-on-station. Available in electric and IC-engine variants.
Hybrid VTOL
Mission: Persistent surveillance, rapid deployment to GPS-denied environments, tactical ISR, defence demonstrations.
Hybrid VTOL platforms combine vertical take-off and landing with efficient forward flight, delivering the flexibility of a multirotor with the endurance of a fixed-wing.
Our founding team built and demonstrated hybrid VTOL systems that won first prize at Drone Olympics India. Structural design is validated by FEA; propulsion architecture is optimised by CFD.
High-Endurance Multirotor
Mission: Urban surveillance, payload delivery, inspection, disaster response, air taxi demonstrators.
Multirotor platforms engineered for endurance beyond the commercial off-the-shelf ceiling. Composite frame design and IC or hybrid-electric propulsion architecture enabled the world-record 6 hr 7 min 45 sec flight certified by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale.
We apply the same engineering rigour whether the platform carries a camera or a medical payload.
Tethered Aerial System
Mission: Persistent airborne communications relay, site security, border monitoring, event surveillance.
Tethered UAVs are purpose-engineered for unlimited airborne endurance, eliminating the battery constraint through ground-supplied continuous power.
They combine stable positional hold, mission-specific payload integration, and streamlined rapid deployment for long-duration surveillance programs.
Autonomous Swarm Systems
Mission: Defence demonstrations, coordinated area coverage, distributed ISR, show and theatrical systems.
Multi-UAV swarm architecture for coordinated autonomous flight. Our team has demonstrated swarm capability to the Indian Air Force at Tambaram Air Station.
Swarm system design covers inter-vehicle communication, collision avoidance, formation control, and choreographed mission execution.
Agricultural & Industrial UAV
Mission: Precision spraying, field mapping, infrastructure inspection, energy asset monitoring.
Purpose-built platforms for agricultural spraying and mapping, plus industrial inspection of pipelines, towers, wind turbines, and substations.
Agricultural platforms integrate 10-15L spraying modules. Inspection platforms integrate stabilised EO/IR sensors, lidar, and structured data collection workflows.
